Who is Strike Audio?

Composer and Music Producer Billy Jay Stein and Television Producer and Director Michael A. Rosen have over 40 years combined experience in the entertainment industry.

Billy Jay Stein and his company Strange Cranium Productions have supplied music for ABC, A&E, Amblin Entertainment, Animal Planet, Artisan Films, CBS, Cinemax, CMT, Comedy Central, Court TV, Direct TV, Discovery, E!, Fox, G4, HBO (“Sex and the City”), History Channel, IFilm, Learning Channel. MTV, NBC, Nickelodeon, Focus Films, Spice Channel, Spike, Style Network, USA, VH1, WB, and WE.

Billy was a member of the rock band The Hatters who recorded three albums for Atlantic Records. He has written, recorded, and performed with Ray Charles, Vanessa Carlton, Collective Soul, The East Village Opera Company, and Joe Budden, among countless others. In addition, Billy has produced and/or performed on the Broadway productions of “Hairspray,” “The Rocky Horror Show,” “Jekyll and Hyde,” “Altar Boyz,” and “Little Women.”

Most recently Billy produced Linda Eder’s new album for Verve Records and “Joyful Noise, Handel's Messiah Rocks” – a touring rock show and album based on Handel’s “Messiah.”

Michael A. Rosen and his company Pretty People Productions have produced television programming for A&E, ABC, AMC, BBC, Comedy Central, Columbia Tri-Star, Court TV, Disney, Embassy Row, Fine Living, Food Network, MTV, Paramount, PBS, RDF, TLC, USA, VH1, WE. Michael was a development executive at VH1 for four years, and has created and sold shows to MTV, VH1, and AMC. He is currently the Executive Producer and Creator of MTV’s “Bedroom Video Star.”

Michael is also an accomplished singer/songwriter and has penned over 200 songs. M. A. Rose – his independently released album garnered rave reviews and received national radio airplay.
