What is Strike Audio?
Strike Audio is a free production music library. We grant you and your distributor the worldwide rights in perpetuity to our music in all forms of media specifically related to your programming. All you have to do is complete and submit cue sheets.
What kind of music is it?
The Strike Audio Library is comprised of the best lyric-free production music available anywhere. Featuring the finest composers, producers, and musicians working today, the tracks are designed to give you creative freedom and flexibility in your edits, saving you time and money. Take a listen.
How much does Strike Audio cost?
As long as you complete and submit cue sheets, all of our music (over 300 CD’s and growing) costs you nothing.
How does Strike Audio make its money?
All major television major broadcast and cable networks are licensees of BMI and ASCAP. The networks pay BMI/ASCAP money on a quarterly basis for the sum of music they utilize. Networks do this for all music, including tracks from other libraries you may use. That money is then distributed to writers and publishers as royalties. Unlike most other libraries, we are our own writers and publishers. We make money from collecting royalties.
How do other music libraries make money?
If you use libraries like Pump, Extreme, and Master Source, you are charged a fee per show or per track – which could run thousands of dollars. Then you are still required to fill out cue sheets. The Strike Audio Library is free to use.
How do you get Strike Audio music?
Whatever is easiest for you - we'll deliver you a hard drive, DVD’s or give you an FTP address and password where you can quickly download folders organized by genres. You’ll have our music in-house, saving considerable time searching, downloading, loading CDs or importing tracks.
What do you need to do?
If you use Strike Audio music in your productions, you must complete music cue sheets and submit them to your distributor (usually the television network). We also ask that you send us copies of all cue sheets. Strike Audio provides you with blank cue sheets and the writer and publisher information for all our songs.
